Organizational Culture Audit
“Culture eats strategy for breakfast.” – Peter Drucker
The company culture plays an important role within an organization. However, it’s often pushed into a corner. Management needs to support a culture which contributes to the organization’s objectives, and also keeps the employees happy. When two companies merge, success depends on how both cultures meet. But in many cases, ‘the culture’ is a very vague concept, which makes it hard for people to identify with it.
Do you attach importance to strategy, in your role as a company leader? Then it is worthwhile to take a very close look at your company culture. Knowing the culture determines your effectiveness in accomplishing a strategy. An organizational culture audit provides you with answers to the following questions, among others: [/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner css=”.vc_custom_1479140436659{margin-bottom: 15px !important;}”][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
- How do things happen within the organization? (‘the way you do things around here’)
- What is the communication style?
- How are decisions made?
- What is the approach to get things done?
- How easily and on what is money getting spent?
- To what degree do you engage in risky business?
- How are customer services running?
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
- What does the organization’s vision look like?
- What are the implicit and explicit values?
- What kind of structures are present?
- How are desirable actions rewarded?
- How do customers talk about the organization?
- What does the competition look like?
